We have recently developed a new FIBC filling station meeting the high demands of pharmaceutically industry applications. The system allows to convey very sensitive food and pharmaceutical powders from a reactor into special flexible containers in a clean, dust-free and efficient manner.

This FIBC filling station ideally combines a number of proved bulk system components to one unit.

At the end of pneumatic conveying the question is how to separate bulk material and conveying medium (mostly air).

As to pressure conveying systems, separation of solids via a cyclone is a common procedure which, however, does not achieve complete separation. If no exhaust filter is installed, light particles might be blown out together with the clean air and spread in the environment. For safety reasons this problem must be avoided particularly in handling materials being harmful to health.

Dusty powders are dispensed and weighed here, all qualified for calibration.

Prior to the filling process a foil inliner is inflated by an integrated fan. After filling, the FIBC is lowered onto the pallet. The FIBC loops are ejected automatically.

An afterflow protection device closes the filling socket after filling has been finished. This is to prevent any material from falling down while the FIBCs are exchanged and to keep the environment clean.

This FIBC filling station allows to fill both hanging and standing FIBCs of various sizes. FIBC sizes can be adjusted either electrically or manually.

Ancillary equipment such as inflating devices, vibrating bottoms to compact the FIBC contents, or "FULL" level indicators are also available.

We also offer suitable equipment to dispense hot filter dust. Such filling stations can be provided with a temperature-resistant electric "FULL" level indicator.
